Long time no blog! I keep thinking I really need to find the USB cord for the camera so I can post some pictures, but then it never happens.
In other news, the babies are doing well and are almost 2 months old already. Logan had a doctor's appointment because his belly button was sticking way out, and it turned out to be an umbilical hernia. Basically, they're harmless. It only needs to be operated on if it's not gone by the time he's 4. At that appointment, Eddie found out that he was 10 pounds and 14 ounces! I can tell he's getting heavier and bigger fast. I told Eddie that Logan was going to help me build up my muscles by having to lift him every day.
I am now on to feeding both babies at the same time every time I feed them (unless Eddie's home). It's so much better than having them take turns. It takes a lot less time and it's less stressful for me. I am getting to be a pro at it. That's another thing I need to take a picture of!
Eddie and I went to his parents' house for the super bowl with the babies. Tim and Sam were staying there for the weekend, so all of the cousins were together (Amelie, Emmett, Violet, and Logan). We were also there the Saturday beforehand, and that must've tired the babies out because they both slept for over 7 hours that night. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened since then. The usual stretch at night is about 4 to 5 hours between feedings.
Tomorrow, my parents are going to be visiting, and uncle Justin is excited to get a picture with both of the babies. It'll be nice to see them. The babies will also get to see their other grandparents next weekend. They're going to watch the babies overnight while Eddie and I do something special for my birthday. We're both really looking forward to that!
And that is all for now... hopefully the next post will be filled with pictures!
